For a while I've been working on developing a new visual project all while I outline the new design and approach of this site. And it's something that will be extremely time consuming but hoping to release in the late Summer of 2015 or early Fall (clearly undecided at the moment). It's far from the usual, though I feel I'm on the right track, throughout the development of this new project and the launch of my recent game Dominode, I've thought of another project different from this one but heavily detailed and engaging.
Both of these ideas are far outside the box of what's accepted as and considered as being the "norm" as they buck the trend of doing what's safe. There will be an extraneous amount of work that will go into both projects but there's something to the both of them that I know many would actually enjoy whether watching, using, and playing.
It's the overall concept of thinking outside of the norm or outside the box where you try things that are unconventional that break cycle of what's expected or along the lines of "it's always been this way why change it?" creatively that's a significant hinderance and I personally feel it doesn't help one essentially grow and learn new things.
With apps, films, web-series, graphic novels, books, and other works of art there's a wide range of people that said screw it and refused to follow the crowd, refused to stay within the confines of what everyone else is doing like those focused on making a remake of a reboot of a prequel or a clone of a clone of an original game. I have enormous respect for these individuals for having the guts to try something different, to actually give it a try at all.
In the coming days, weeks, and months I plan to continue developing and expounding upon the various projects I have going on rather those that are in heavy development where the approach and the product provide new insight into how one would overcome obstacles bound to occur, by essentially thinking in an abstract manner, trusting my gut, simply trying something new...in a nutshell, thinking outside the box.
